NEW DISCOVERY.....ALICE GOLD!

Today I took yet another bus journey into leeds! To keep myself occupied on the bus, I decided to buy myself a second October 2011 issue of 'Elle' magazine! I say second, as my little sister cut up my first for her textiles project! (Passion for fashion runs through our blood!) During the thumb-licking and page-flicking, I came across the music section of 'Elle Preview' and It was here where I made a new discovery!

ALICE GOLD!

A songwriter since the young age of 9, Alice Gold has made a tough journey onto the music scene, and after buying her debut album - 'Seven Rainbows', I believe no one deserves success more than she! Her vocals are very refreshing, combining the harshness of rock music, with the soft-edge voices of country. Definitely a must for those who are a fan of 'Florence + The Machine' . A personal favorite from the album is 'Cry Cry Cry' - the chorus is catchy, and I'm sure it wont be long until I'll be seen dancing round my room, mouthing every vocal as I go!
